Rochelle Kilgariff – General Manager, Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay, Oman: Rochelle Kilgariff has been appointed to general manager of Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay in the Sultanate of Oman from her previous two year tenure as general manager of the group’s multi-award winning flagship property in the Maldives, Soneva Fushi. In this role she will focus on the day to day operations of the resort and will report directly to the managing director for the Middle East.
Prior to joining Six Senses, Rochelle enjoyed a five-year tenure as general manager of the twin properties of Chaba Cabana Beach Resort & Spa and Chaba Samui Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Rochelle commenced her career in the hospitality trade with tour operations, in which she spent thirteen years in sales and marketing with Creative Holidays, Australia’s largest wholesale travel company. As product director - Asia, Rochelle represented and negotiated with over 300 hotels and resorts covering six Asian countries.
Rochelle completed the General Manager Program with Cornell in 2007 and earned a Diploma in Travel & Tourism from Australia. She has also participated in a host of industry development courses, including spa operations management.

Marteyne M. van Well – Spa Director, Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa, Doha, Qatar. Marteyne van Well has been appointed spa director at the Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa in Doha, Qatar. She is responsible for the daily spa operations and management of the staff to ensure outstanding customer service.
Prior to joining Six Senses Spas, Marteyne was the director of operations at Descent International, Moutiers, France. She was responsible for the day to day operations plus new development plans of fifteen 5-star luxury chalets in the French and Swiss Alps.
Marteyne bring an extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry to Six Senses Spas, with two decades of hospitality experience in internationally acclaimed 5-star luxury hotels and small luxury boutique hotels. She has a strong and established track record in shaping long-term relationships to deliver outstanding service and financial results. Marteyne’s management roles have seen her based in four continents and locations including the French Alps, Marrakech, New York, the Bahamas, Los Angeles, Washington D.C and London.
After graduating from the Hotelschool The Hague, a member of the Leading Hotel Schools of the World, Marteyne started her career in the US where she spent over ten years in sales and marketing roles before moving into operations and general management in Morocco. She opened the former Millennium Hotel Agadir as director of sales and marketing, and was the general manager at La Lune d’Or in Marrakech. Under her leadership, and within one year of opening, this luxury villa property achieved the distinction of being named “one of the ten best villas in the world” by the acclaimed Robb Report.

Andrea Llona-Gantner – Executive Assistant to Chairman & CEO. Andrea Llona-Gantner joins Six Senses as executive assistant to Sonu Shivdasani, Chairman & CEO of the Six Senses group. She is responsible for supporting and assisting the CEO, including the management of his communication system plus special projects.
Andrea joined Six Senses from Switzerland, where she worked at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHC), the consulting division of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). She was in charge of the development and management of EHL’s Executive Education programmes. Additionally she worked on projects with clients such as Scottish & Newcastle, Caviar House & Prunier, Nespresso, Procter & Gamble, Costa Cruises and the Olympic Museum. She graduated from EHL with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management, specializing in marketing: customer behavior, e-marketing and market research. Whilst at EHL, Andrea worked in operations at Disneyland Resort Paris and Hotel de Russie in Rome. Prior to EHL she studied economics and business administration at Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru. She is fluent in several languages and is an avid dancer who is passionate for Latin rhythms.
