In Just Three Months, Hotel Earns a Maximum Three “Flames” on Coveted Hot List
Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, which opened its doors to guests on January 30, 2008 as part of the Trump Hotel Collection, has received a red-hot nod of approval from the editors of Condé Nast Traveler. Named one of the world’s top new hotels – among just 136 winners – in the magazine’s 12th annual Hot List, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago was the only new U.S. hotel to receive three out of three “flames.” This coveted listing will appear in the May 2008 issue.
“Recognition by a publication as prestigious as Condé Nast Traveler is welcome any time, but especially so early into our launch,” said Colm O’Callaghan, vice president, managing director of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. “With a marquee brand like Trump, we are most certainly on a quest for superlatives, so being among the ‘hottest’ on the Hot List is quite satisfying. The acknowledgment is a great testimony to the Trump Chicago team, and I congratulate them wholeheartedly.”
The 2008 Hot List is developed by Condé Nast Traveler’s editors and correspondents, who investigate and rigorously evaluate hundreds of new and newly renovated hotels and resorts around the world. Each hotel listing received one, two or three flames – with three flames being the “hottest” rating a hotel can receive. Condé Nast Traveler’s complete 2008 Hot List is available at www.TOBEINSERTED.com.
