Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai is offering an attractive launch rate for its Classic Rooms to celebrate the hotel’s opening in the city’s historically significant Jing’An district later this month.

Guests booking a Classic Room any time from May to August 08 inclusive can enjoy a special opening rate of RMB 1,295 (around US$178), including one buffet breakfast per room night and free use of hi-speed internet. The rate is subject to 15% tax and service charge.

There are also special deals for members of the world’s leading frequent flyer programs. For example, member of Lufthansa and Swiss International Air Lines’ “Miles and More” program can get deals such as 20% discount on food and beverage at either the signature Café Swiss restaurant or at The Flow lobby bar, and 20% discount off the hotel’s Spa treatment when it opens in June.

Travellers who belong to Asia Miles, Air China, Jet Airways, JAL and various other leading programs can also receive a number of special benefits, details of which are available from the hotel.

Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai, which brings the international hotel group’s legendary Swiss hospitality to the city for the first time, is uniquely complemented by elements of local culture and flavours.
With 467 rooms and suites, executive floors, an exclusive Club Lounge on the 27th floor and four restaurants and bars, the hotel is designed to meet the requirements of sophisticated business and leisure travellers.

Guests have a wide range of dining options. The all-day dining Café Swiss offers guests a dazzling array of international fare, while Mian Ba serves up traditional regional Chinese fare, including a wide selection of Asian noodles, or “mian”. The Flow Lounge & Bar in the lobby, meanwhile, is an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea and scones, or drinks before or after dinner, while real chocoholics will enjoy the Chocolate Shop.

On the fifth floor, The Spa will offer a range of specially created massage, facial and body treatments in one of either three treatment rooms or two VIP suites. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool, with children’s paddling pool on the same floor, as well as a fully equipped 200 sq m gym and health bar.

Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai has a range of meeting rooms, each equipped with the latest technology, wireless internet access and other support services, such as a modern business centre. The hotel’s Conference Specialists and the Swiss Meeting Concierge offer complete solutions to meet the requirements of organizers and participants, from technical specifications to post-event leisure activities.
