Harrah's Resort, Caesars, Showboat and Bally's in Atlantic City expand hotel channels as part of larger, company-wide agreement with Orbitz Worldwide

Harrah's Entertainment (http://www.harrahs.com/) announced today that it has increased its hotel distribution network in Atlantic City through an agreement with Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE:OWW), a leading global online travel company. Under the partnership, Harrah's Resort, Caesars, Showboat, and Bally's, all part of the Harrah's Operating Company, Inc. ("Harrah's"), will make its hotel inventory available through a portfolio of Orbitz Worldwide brands including Orbitz (http://www.orbitz.com/), CheapTickets (http://www.cheaptickets.com/), ebookers.com (http://www.ebookers.com/) and HotelClub (http://www.hotelclub.com/).

With the soon-to-open 960-room Waterfront Tower at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, the four Harrah's casinos in Atlantic City will include 6,500 rooms in this rapidly-growing gaming, entertainment and oceanfront travel market. The Harrah's properties feature a wide variety of room types and inventory, ranging from economical standard guest rooms to elaborate, fully-furnished suites.

"As Harrah's Entertainment hotels continue to expand into new regions, as well as within established markets like Atlantic City, the global reach of Orbitz Worldwide's brands will serve as a great benefit to Harrah's and its customers," said Carlos Tolosa, Eastern Division President for Harrah's Entertainment.

Including Atlantic City, the agreement gives Orbitz Worldwide lodging inventory at more than 25 new Harrah's properties in the U.S. and Canada, as well as the distinction of having more Harrah's Entertainment hotels in its portfolio than any other online travel agency.

"Harrah's has been a great partner over the years, already proving instrumental in our success in markets like Las Vegas," said Peggy Bianco, vice president, global hotel supplier relations, Orbitz Worldwide. "As a leading brand in the top gaming and entertainment travel destinations, we're pleased to now offer our customers from around the world access to inventory at more than two dozen Harrah's properties."

Orbitz Worldwide, which previously had inventory at several Harrah's-owned properties in the Las Vegas and Reno markets, now boasts additional supply through the company's Harrah's, Horseshoe, Caesar's, Bally's and Rio Las Vegas brands. The entertainment hotels now available for booking through any of Orbitz Worldwide's branded sites include markets such as Atlantic City, N.J., Las Vegas and Reno, Nev., Lake Tahoe, Calif., New Orleans, LA., Biloxi, Miss. and more.
