Michael Stenekes, who has recently been appointed as Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, is a welcome addition to the property’s food and beverage team.
Stenekes’ career has seen him travel from his native Canada to the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. He comes to the Amman property from Discovery at Marigot Bay in St. Lucia, a member of \'The Leading Small Hotels of the World\'. He held the position of Executive Sous Chef there and helped to run four restaurants. Prior to this post, Stenekes gained a wealth of experience as Chef de Partie at England\'s famous, triple Michelin-starred restaurant, The Fat Duck. He has also worked in excellent, fine dining restaurants in Canada, where he originally trained.
“We are delighted to have a chef with such talent as part of our team, and extend a warm Jordanian welcome to Chef Michael,” says Director of Food and Beverage, Andy Kunz. Stenekes adds, “I am looking forward to working hard within a thriving team and to progressing within this successful company. Long term, I hope to inspire and educate people both within and outside my profession about food and cooking,”
