Northern California Property Welcomes Visitors to Napa, Silicon Valley After State-of-the-Art Renovations
The Pleasanton Marriott today opened its doors as a favorite gateway to the breathtaking hills of the California wine country and the trend-setting innovation of Silicon Valley, offering a convenient location for both business and leisure guests. The property unveiled its stylish new look and cutting- edge amenities today at a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local dignitaries and executives from The Pyramid Hotel Group and Marriott Hotels and Resorts.
"The Pleasanton Marriott is situated in the heart of one of the most unique places in the world," said Jim Dina, principal and chief operating officer of Pyramid Hotel Group. "The hotel will appeal to the tech-savvy professional as well as the leisure traveler looking to explore the natural beauty of Northern California's wine country. The Marriott's restaurant, the Market Cafe, features Northern California cuisine that uses locally grown foods and stocks its wine cellar with the best selections from the East Bay vineyards. This assures our guests of the finest, freshest food, while reducing the energy cost to deliver it to our hotel.
"We have a commitment to our associates and to the community here in Pleasanton," Dina added. "We've created relationships with local farms and vineyards as a tangible show of support for the community that we reside in. Through those relationships, and with the uncluttered, modern design of the hotel, the Pleasanton Marriott provides an experience that can't be found anywhere else in the Bay area."
The 242-room Pleasanton Marriott, located at 11950 Dublin Canyon Blvd., features Marriott's exclusive living room-style lobby design, creating a space where guests can plug in, sip Northern California's finest wines, mingle and relax. All guestrooms are outfitted with wireless, high-speed Internet, Marriott's luxury bedding, 32-inch flat screen TVs and a jack-pack, allowing guests to plug in multiple electronic devices at once. "Marriott's plug-in technology is engineered for performance and is targeted to engage the 24/7 achiever," Dina said.
The 24-hour, state-of-the-art business center is equipped with the latest technology, and the brand new fitness center overlooks the heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. The property also offers 5,000 square feet of meeting space and two meeting rooms and can accommodate groups of up to 300 people.
"Not only can our guests count on the outstanding guest service that is synonymous with the Marriott name, but they can experience the latest technology, uniquely regional cuisine and a property that echoes the grace and beauty of its surroundings," said Cathy Ryle, general manager.
