As part of its year- long celebration leading up to the arrival of MSC Orchestra in North American waters in January, MSC Cruises is offering guests a free balcony upgrade.
The free balcony upgrade -- a savings of up to 50 percent or more off retail prices -- is available to guests who book an oceanview stateroom on MSC Orchestra's 2008-09 Caribbean itineraries by April 30.
Cruise-only prices for a 7-night Eastern or Western Caribbean roundtrip itinerary from Fort Lauderdale begin at $799 per person and, as always, kids 17 or younger sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults. All prices are cruise only, per person, double occupancy. Government fees and taxes for all guests are additional, as well as a fuel surcharge for the first and second guests in a stateroom. Prices are subject to availability; certain restrictions apply.
A highlight of both the Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries is a call at Cayo Levantado, the line's private paradise experience in the Dominican Republic. There, guests will have the option to explore pristine beaches, enjoy turquoise waters and natural rainforest or view humpback whales as they arrive in the warmer Caribbean waters off the coast to mate and enjoy their newborns.
Plus, the Jan. 24, Feb. 28, March 28 and April 11 sailings are Baseball Greats theme cruises, where guests have the opportunity to mingle and learn from some of the greats of the game and even get their autographs for free.
In conjunction with this Free Balcony Upgrade promotions guests who book the Free Balcony Upgrade promotion need only to place a deposit of $100 per person.
