Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Kim Nugent as corporate director of revenue management for the leading hospitality management company. Eric Terry, vice president sales and marketing, made the announcement. Ms. Nugent will be based at Benchmark's Home Office near Houston.
"I am very pleased to welcome Kim to Benchmark," said Mr. Terry. "She brings significant expertise in revenue management working with major hotel companies and will be a tremendous asset to our sales and marketing team."
Ms. Nugent was most recently assistant general manager with Resort Quest, formally a Gaylord Entertainment Company. Before she assumed these responsibilities, she served as regional director of revenue management for Resort Quest / Gaylord Entertainment.
Nugent gained extensive operational experience working as director of rooms and then resort manager for Omni Hotels and Alliance Hospitality. She was also employed as central director of revenue management for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Nugent served as director of revenue management for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, overseeing two large properties in Southern California. She and her family have relocated to The Woodlands.
