Six Senses Resorts & Spas has promoted Henry J. P. Gray as area director for Thailand from his previous position as area general manager - Evason Phuket & Six Senses Spa. In addition to continuing to oversee Evason Phuket and Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi, Henry will also take on the new responsibility of overseeing Six Senses Hideaway Samui, and both Six Senses Hideaway Hua Hin and Evason Hua Hin.
Henry joined Six Senses from his previous role of general manager of The Oberoi, Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan India. Prior to that he had a 12-year stint with Amanresorts , opening and operating Mahakua - Hacienda de San Antonio in Colima, Mexico; and the renowned Amandari in Bali, Indonesia.
With a Diploma-OND in Hotel and Catering Management from the Henley College for Hotel Training in Coventry, England, Henry’s early career took him to the British Virgin Islands, Mexico, USA, Canada and his native Scotland.
