342-Room Hotel Becomes the First Hyatt Regency in North Dallas
Global Hyatt Corporation today announced the opening of Hyatt Regency North Dallas, a 342-room hotel located in Richardson’s telecom corridor.
The 17-story hotel is owned and operated by Noble Investment Group (“Noble”), who after acquiring the former Richardson Hotel in November 2007, invested $6.4 million in enhancements, which will include a stylish upscale contemporary decor, fully integrated Hyatt check-in kiosks and Hyatt’s signature Regency Club. The guest rooms will feature the plush Hyatt Grand Bed™ and large flat panel TVs. Along with the meeting and banquet space upgrades, the fitness and business centers have been outfitted with new equipment and technology featuring dynamic video presentation.
Hyatt Regency North Dallas offers state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated business and leisure facilities. The hotel offers 13,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, including the 7,800 square foot Texas Ballroom, the premier venue in northeast Dallas for meetings and social events. The hotel’s large guestrooms feature custom-designed furniture, and oversized work areas with ergonomic chairs.
This is the third Hyatt hotel acquired by Noble in the last 12 months, all of which are under long-term license agreements. In addition, Noble will soon complete its repositioning of six owned AmeriSuites hotels to Hyatt Place™ for an opening next month.
Hyatt Regency North Dallas/Richardson is the 10th Hyatt-branded hotel in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
