“Hyatt will open the first new build Hyatt Summerfield Suites this summer, which reflects our all-new design concept,” said Jim Abrahamson, Hyatt’s head of development for the Americas. “We received tremendous support from the segment’s best developers to rapidly bring this concept to life.”

Hyatt Summerfield Suites prototype, conversion and existing hotels will offer a mix of spacious studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom guest suites focused on comfort and style. In the living area, guests will find a 32-inch flat-panel, high definition television featuring high-definition programming in addition to an already impressive channel lineup. Guests can choose to watch television while stretched out on the Cozy Corner, a stylish, comfortable sectional sofa that can serve as both a work and relaxation area. An oversized desk and ergonomic chair, vibrant artwork and warm lighting complete the comfortable atmosphere. Bedrooms offer the plush Hyatt Grand Bed™.

The public space will also feature a warm, contemporary look, designed to provide the comfort and sociability of a neighborhood. There is a lounge area that provides den-style seating areas, as well as larger spaces for groups of all sizes. Here, guests will find the enhanced complimentary full breakfast buffet, offered daily, as well as an Evening Social, which takes place nightly Monday through Thursday. The Guest Market will offer a variety of easy-to-prepare items, and guests can also take advantage of grocery shopping services.

Hyatt Summerfield Suites also takes everyday comforts to the next level, offering an Internet café with two public computers and a printer, a fitness center featuring state-of-the-art LifeFitness® cardio machines with built-in personal television screens, an indoor or outdoor pool, complimentary grill for guest use and laundry services.
