- With Increased Growth in Asia Pacific, Fairmont Signs on the Carrier’s Frequent Flyer Program KrisFlyer -
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced a new marketing alliance with international airline carrier Singapore Airlines. As both companies continue to expand globally in areas where the two share a presence, the strategic partnership will grant hotel guests the opportunity to capitalize on airline miles with KrisFlyer. The Singapore Airlines’ frequent flyer program gives travelers the opportunity to redeem miles to travel to their favorite destinations on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and partner airlines, including those in the Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline network. For more information on KrisFlyer, please visit www.krisflyer.com.
To celebrate the new partnership, Fairmont guests making reservations via Only One Way rates will receive double airline miles at participating locations through the KrisFlyer program up until April 15, 2008. Qualifying stays are subject to hotel availability and cannot be combined with any other offers. For reservations or more information on Fairmont’s Only One Way winter rates, please visit www.fairmont.com/winter.
“As a global hotel company focused on growth, Fairmont continues to seek partnerships with international carriers that reflect our worldwide presence and we are very excited to be diversifying our rewards offerings with the addition of one of the aviation industry’s principal players,” said Brian Richardson, Fairmont’s Vice President, Brand Marketing & Communications.
This new marketing relationship is a direct extension of the brand’s existing roster of frequent flyer program affiliations, a group that includes other airline partners such as American Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa and United Airlines.
