Barcelo Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of Larry Pagac to Director of Meeting & Incentive Sales for the Northern California and Pacific Northwest Region as the company continues to expand its U.S. based meetings and incentives sales team. Mr. Pagac joins Barcelo Hotels & Resorts from Pegasus Premier Collection where he represented group sales throughout the entire Western region for eight luxury hotels including The Breakers, The Broadmoor, and The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island. Prior to that Mr. Pagac was Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Intrawest Destination Resorts. He has also held similar sales management positions with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.
"We look forward to Larry's experience and in depth knowledge of the meetings and incentive market," said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Barcelo Crestline Corporation. "Larry will join Jim Alfaro on the west coast in servicing our expanding meetings business for our all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Latin America," added Denfeld.
Mr. Pagac has over 20 years of hotel sales and marketing experience. He holds a B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from Florida State University. He is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the chapters of Southern California, Orange County and Northern California.
