Fontainebleau Resorts, LLC has appointed Audrey Oswell as President & Chief Operating Officer of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a $2.9 billion, 3,812-room destination casino resort under construction on The Strip. She will oversee all aspects of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas business and operations.

Most recently, Oswell was Chief Operating Officer of The Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino, a $3 billion mixed-use project in Las Vegas. There, she established the start-up company\'s organizational structure and policies at both the corporate and operational levels. Oswell also developed a marketing strategy for The Cosmopolitan, assembled the Senior Management team and created a company business plan. Previously, she served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Resorts Atlantic City and President & Chief Operating Officer of Caesar\'s Atlantic City, where she worked from 1979 to 2000. Oswell also served as President of the Casino Association of New Jersey.

\"Audrey is one of the casino resort industry\'s most accomplished executives,\" said Howard Karawan, Chief Operating Officer, Fontainebleau Resorts. \"We\'re confident her vision and leadership will help drive Fontainebleau Las Vegas to become one of the world\'s most spectacular destinations.\"

Oswell earned a bachelor\'s degree from Temple University and a master\'s degree from Drexel University.

The 63-story, 725-foot Fontainebleau tower will feature a dramatic lobby with soaring ceilings, signature restaurants, 60,000-square-foot spa, 95,000- square-foot casino, 3,300-seat performing arts theater, trendsetting retail boutiques, a state-of-the-art conference center and the world\'s largest rooftop pool and club scene with incredible views directly down the Las Vegas Strip. Groundbreaking for the project took place in January 2007 and is scheduled to open in fall 2009.

The forerunner of a new generation of world-class resorts, Fontainebleau Las Vegas will bring the Fontainebleau brand to Las Vegas in dramatic fashion, borrowing from Morris Lapidus, the innovative architect who designed the curvilinear Fontainebleau in Miami Beach more than a half-century ago. Featuring crisp aesthetics in an environment of light, reflection and space, Fontainebleau Las Vegas will weave its brand-making attributes - striking design, contemporary art, music, fashion and technology - into an immersive guest experience.

Fontainebleau Resorts is led by Executive Chairman Jeffrey Soffer, President and Chief Executive Officer Glenn Schaeffer and Karawan. The company also is revamping and enlarging Fontainebleau Miami Beach, which is projected to reopen in summer 2008.
