Jumeirah’s founding hotel wins award for fourth time
Jumeirah Beach Hotel, part of Dubai based luxury hospitality management group Jumeirah, has scooped the award for ‘Favourite Resort Hotel’, at the 2007 Daily Telegraph Travel Awards for the fourth year.
The awards are held annually by prestigious UK national newspaper, The Daily Telegraph. The awards reception, held in Tenerife last week, was attended by senior representatives from the international travel and tourism industry.
Heinrich Morio, General Manager of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, said: “We are delighted to have received this prestigious award for the fourth time. Jumeirah Beach Hotel has many loyal guests from the United Kingdom and we would like to thank them for taking the time to vote for us.”
The awards were established nine years ago and have quickly become the pinnacle of tourism achievement in the UK. An outside independent consulting firm oversees the awards to ensure accuracy and strictly monitors the special questionnaire issued to readers of The Daily Telegraph, one of the most respected English-language newspapers in Europe.
