Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc., the management company for the new Westin Virginia Beach Town Center hotel, today announced the official opening of the 236 guestroom upscale hotel. The hotel is a focal point of the Town Center of Virginia Beach, a mixed-use “main street” style development located at the core of the city’s Central Business District and the home to its cultural, business and retail activities.
Developed by Armada Hoffler, the Town Center spans over 17 city blocks and provides a mix of upscale retail, luxury residential, Class A offices, an array of restaurants, as well as the new Westin Hotel and Residences. The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center shares the 38 story high-rise tower, the tallest building in the state of Virginia, with 119 luxury condominiums, whose owners will have access to many of the hotel’s services and amenities.
“On behalf of the entire Crestline team and the hotel’s general manager, Matt Kinley, we are pleased to officially open this beautiful new hotel and dedicate it to the service of the community and its guests,” said Dave Durbin, President & CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “We also thank Armada-Hoffler for their vision in developing this beautiful project and their confidence in our management and service commitment,” added Durbin.
“It is thrilling to see our hard work come to fruition. The Westin adds a new element to Virginia Beach’s Town Center skyline while establishing itself as the top luxury hotel in the region,” said Lou Haddad, President & CEO of Armada Hoffler.
The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center is a full-service, state-of-the-art, meeting-friendly hotel. Each of its guestrooms offer amenities and services that cater to business and leisure travelers in traditional Westin style with an oversized work desk, two-line cordless telephone with data port, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, the new Westin WakeCup® coffee brewer with complimentary Starbucks coffee, an in-room refreshment center and the Westin’s Service Express® (“One Call Does it All”) that permits guests to dial one extension to facilitate all service requests. For conferences and events, the hotel features 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space including an 8,800 square foot ballroom. Guests of the hotel may enjoy the hotel’s Taza Restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner or the Lounge/Bar offering cocktails and light fare.
