Wellness is no longer an option in the luxury hotel industry, it is a promise as well as a commitment of the hotels. And like any promise, it deserves special attention, coupled with reflection to offer the best service and the best amenities, in line with current trends and customer expectations.
One year after opening the debate on the need to “Think outside the box”, the organizer of the HOTel&SPA Forum, Vladi Kovanic, is inviting hotel managers, owners, designers, architects and brands to come together for a new day of conversation and sharing. On June 1st, at the Four Seasons George V Paris, the 120 lucky participants will once again refine the contours of the customer's experience. The theme of this 15th edition will be: “Authentic Wellness – Time for Change”.
To explore this important topic, many experts have been invited, starting with Dr. George Gaitanos. Guest of honour, the scientific director of the Chenot Group, will open the day with the message that the search for authentic wellness will require everyone to step out of their comfort zone.
Former hotel manager Cornelia Kausch, who now runs her coaching and consulting business, and hospitality and wellness specialist Andrew Gibson, whose expertise has benefited brands such as Six Senses, Raffles, Mandarin Oriental, Fairmont and Sensei, will question leadership through cost and scarcity of labour as well as understanding wellness. For his part, Robert Henry, nicknamed “the sensual architect of serenity”, will explore “New directions in Spa and Wellness”.
The day will also be punctuated by the intervention of Roger Allen, CEO of RLA Global, who will address the business of wellness in real estate, and several other experts in the profession or the duo Tom Middleton - Ramy Elnaga. Founders of White Mirror, a consulting firm in innovation and well-being, they will focus the debate on the notion of augmented wellness, digital therapeutics and building healthy and sustainable habits in the age of the metaverse. An opening towards digital, answering the current stakes of a world always more digital.
There will be formal and informal discussions, during the various gourmet breaks where participants will be able to meet and share their experiences, compare their methods and orientations in the spirit cultivated by HOTel&SPA, since its creation in 2007.
The day will end with the Black and Blue Diamond Awards. These awards, conceived by the HOTel&SPA Forum, aim to honour each year women and men from the world of wellness, thalassotherapy, and spa for their action, their expertise, and their career. The Thalasso personality of the year and the best Spa manager will be honoured.
An eclectic program that promises to be once again rich and inspiring to continue the improvement of wellness promise within the luxury industry.
