Faced with the new wave of Covid sweeping across France and Europe, and the expansion of the Omicron variant, many exhibitors among the 1,700 participants in the Maison&Objet 2022 show are experiencing organizational difficulties and various health constraints related to the virus.

With the rapid and massive expansion of the variant, it seems unwise for these companies to expose their employees to the risk of infection.

The multiplicity of contaminations has also led some countries to adopt drastic and restrictive measures to try to stop the spread of the virus.

France has not escaped this restrictive arsenal. The government has announced the implementation of a 2,000-person capacity limit for major events. This measure is likely to have a major impact on the Maison&Objet show, which was initially scheduled to take place in January.

Faced with this exceptional situation, and in order to ensure safe sanitary conditions for both exhibitors and visitors, Maison&Objet has decided to postpone its show. As a result, it will be held from Thursday, March 24 to Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Paris Nord-Villepinte Exhibition Center.

The organizers hope to provide the best possible operational and sanitary conditions to allow the art of living, decoration and design players to be inspired, to accelerate their development and to forge new business relationships.
