Rosewood Relaunches Two Premier Flagship Properties

This is a press release selected by our editorial committee and published online for free on 2007-10-16

For more than 28 years, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has operated a unique collection of properties offering luxurious accommodations, unparalleled quality and personalized service. As the collection of properties managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts expands, it has become increasingly important for guests to easily recognize Rosewood properties in order to enjoy its portfolio of ultra luxury properties throughout the world. Rosewood has launched a branding initiative that will allow guests to identify Rosewood properties not only through their exquisite design, attention to detail, luxurious amenities or unparalleled service, but by simply seeing the Rosewood name. This initiative begins with the relaunch of two of Rosewood’s flagship properties, The Mansion on Turtle Creek and Little Dix Bay, which will now be named Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Rosewood Little Dix Bay, respectively.

In the increasingly competitive luxury hotel industry, it has become imperative for Rosewood to begin establishing a sense of self to provide continuity between all properties. Rosewood began the first phase of its branding initiative in 2005 when “A Rosewood Hotel” or “A Rosewood Resort” was placed after the name of each Rosewood-managed property. The first phase of Rosewood’s branding initiative included all hotels and resorts in the collection and was positively received by guests and the industry.

Today’s relaunch of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Rosewood Little Dix Bay, integrates “Rosewood” at the front of select Rosewood managed properties. These properties, as with every Rosewood property, reflect a dedication to creating unique world-class properties that personify the company’s A Sense of Place® guiding principle. Select existing hotels and resorts will soon follow by adopting the Rosewood branding. New Rosewood properties, including six properties slated to open within the next three years, will lead with the Rosewood name. This includes Rosewood Corniche, which successfully opened this month in Jeddah.

“This change is a significant validation of Rosewood’s promise of excellence,” states Robert Boulogne, Chief Operating Officer of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “With an extraordinarily diverse portfolio, and the highly anticipated addition of five new properties to the collection, it is important that each property is recognized as a representative of this promise.”

The Rosewood experience will continue to embrace the local culture and serve as the quintessential expression of their location. Whether located in the heart of the world’s great cities, or in the splendid isolation of a remote tropical isle, each property is dedicated to enriching every component of a guest’s experience.

A full list of changes is included below for your convenience. Media outlets and travel industry professionals are encouraged to update their records and to refer to all properties by their new name in future publications.
