His career with Cycas Hospitality began in 2018 as Director of Accommodations & Serviced Apartments, followed by a successful tenure as General Manager at the 244-room combined Moxy & Residence Inn by Marriott Slough.
Philip holds a background in Hospitality Management from the International Hotelschool in The Hague and has held various roles in European hospitality destinations throughout his career, including positions at Rome Cavalieri and with Hilton and Starwood hotels via facility management firm ISS Facility Services. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, serving on its London region board, and is an Ambassador for Hospitality Action.
Commenting on his promotion, Philip Steiner said: "Stepping into this new executive leadership role presents an exciting opportunity to support Cycas's continued growth and success across the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands and Portugal. My journey with Cycas has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited to work with our talented teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and partners."
Matt Luscombe, Chief Executive Officer at Cycas Hospitality added: “Philip is a highly accomplished leader with an impressive track record. Over the past six years at Cycas, he has progressed through a series of increasingly senior operational leadership roles, earning the trust and respect of both our team and numerous investment partners. Philip has delivered outstanding results at every stage of his career, demonstrating a remarkable talent for navigating diverse challenges and consistently finding ways to succeed. I’m looking forward to seeing him apply his exceptional energy, experience, creativity, and leadership skills to an even broader portfolio of our hotels in this new role.”
This appointment comes as part of Cycas Hospitality's ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership team and expanding its presence across Europe.
