Closing on May 31, 2025, the hotel offers guests a final opportunity to experience its iconic dining, spa, and cultural offerings through a series of thoughtfully curated events. Recognising the loyalty of our guests and promising a vision for the future, Mandarin Oriental, Miami concludes this chapter with optimism, leaving behind unforgettable memories and teases what lies ahead for the brand in Miami: an entirely new Mandarin Oriental, Miami and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, set to debut in 2030.

Since its grand opening in 2000, Mandarin Oriental, Miami has earned a reputation for excellence. Routinely topping Editor and Readers' Choice Awards in top Travel publications, the property has been celebrated with Forbes 5-Star accolades for both the hotel and the spa, and consistently recognised as offering the Best Dining in Miami. A vibrant centrepiece of Miami’s cultural and culinary scene, the hotel has been the destination of choice for global celebrities, including Will Smith, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen.

As the hotel prepares to conclude this extraordinary chapter, Mandarin Oriental, Miami invites guests and the community to join in the celebrations. A curated calendar of monthly activations and room offers will showcase the property’s signature artistry, service, and cultural connections:
  • December 2024: Art Week Miami – An immersive collaboration with local and global artists, featuring curated installations and exclusive dining events.
  • January 2025: Chinese New Year – A tribute to the hotel’s Asian heritage with themed culinary experiences and cultural performances.
  • February 2025: Timeless Romance – Valentine’s Day celebrations with indulgent couples’ spa journeys and champagne dinners.
  • March 2025: Honouring Heritage and Community – Events celebrating Women’s History Month and Miami’s vibrant culture.
  • April 2025: Culinary Celebration – Chef-hosted tasting menus revisiting 25 years of iconic dishes and rare wine pairings.
  • May 2025: Celebration of Memories – A grand closing gala featuring live performances, a retrospective exhibit, and opportunities to reflect on cherished moments.

Shaping the Future of Luxury Hospitality

As Mandarin Oriental, Miami embarks on an exciting new chapter, the brand's deep-rooted connection with the city remains steadfast. Building on its enduring partnership with Swire Properties, the two companies are collaborating once again to redefine Miami's luxury hospitality landscape with the creation of an entirely new Mandarin Oriental, Miami and introduction of The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, set to debut in 2030.

Comprising two towers, the South Tower will feature 228 residences with interiors by renowned Parisian designer Tristan Auer. The North Tower will house the new North American flagship Mandarin Oriental hotel, offering 121 keys including 34 luxurious suites, a signature Spa at Mandarin Oriental, and multiple intimate fine-dining and al fresco restaurants. The North Tower will also include 66 private residences and 28 hotel residences, with more information coming soon.For over 40 years, Swire Properties has been integral to the development of Brickell Key, and The Residences offer the final opportunity to own a luxurious piece of this exclusive island community.
