Blue Parallel, which has been creating bespoke journeys for the most discerning travelers to some of the most spectacular natural and cultural wonders for more than two decades, is expanding its offerings for 2025 to now include The Pantanal in Brazil, a fascinating wildlife discovery through the world’s largest tropical wetland, as well as elevating its offerings in Uruguay to position the destination as an even more enticing “must do” for travelers seeking luxurious and exclusive travel experience.
Founder and President Emmanuel Burgio is known for creating private, tailor-made itineraries that focus on unique access to UNESCO World Heritage sites, insider experiences and extraordinary outdoor adventures, and these two new additions are the perfect addition to Blue Parallel’s existing catalog of once-in-a-lifetime journeys. Details follow.
“Since founding Blue Parallel over twenty years ago, it has been my mission to master each of our selected destinations. I have personally visited all of our destinations and my team and I travel throughout the year to rigorously vet the different elements that make up a Blue Parallel journey. We get to know our destinations inside and out to ensure a deep knowledge of them all,” said Burgio.
“We continue to search for ways to “wow” our guests, and these two new tours are a great example of how we build and utilize invaluable relationships across our destinations to offer activities and experiences our travelers couldn’t do or access in the same way without us and our local connections.”
The Pantanal journey typically begins in Rio and continues on to the Pantanal region, a sprawling, biodiverse wetland paradise renowned for its rich wildlife – including more than 400 fish, 1,700 plants, 80 mammals, more than 1,100 butterfly and 656 bird species – and extensive array of ecosystems.
Guests can enjoy private photo safaris, guided walking tours, nature canoe rides, as well as after-hours access to various sites in Rio, private air and the best guides and biologists specializing in jaguars and macaws.
The Essence of Uruguay journey includes Montevideo, Punta del Este and Jose Ignacio with stunning beaches, picturesque hiking and biking, kayaking, swimming with sea lions, and kite surfing, just to name a few possibilities.
One-on-one meetings with interesting locals include Uruguayan artist Pablo Atchugarry, an exclusive demonstration of Candombe music in a local musician’s studio, exclusive private access to a 59-acre olive oil plantation including private tour and tasting with its owner, dining in vineyards, private boating among islands, a horseback ride to a private barbecue in a moonlit forest prepared by a personal chef and much more. Complete draft itinerary available on request.
