Regional CSR Manager Amélie Pigeon leads her team in the development of social and environmental initiatives throughout the year.
These efforts engage L’Apogée Courchevel in the preservation of local and regional biodiversity while providing guests with outstanding service that respects the environment.
Local Partnership
Since 2017, L’Apogée Courchevel has been committed to preserving the rich cultural and environmental heritage of its region and passing it on to future generations.
Since 2023, the hotel has worked with Courchevel du Praz Elementary School in creating environmental projects to build a sustainable future together.
Thanks to the generosity of hotel guests, students participated in workshops in 2024 to learn about the fragility of the area’s wildlife in the face of climate change. This year, guests can once again join L’Apogée Courchevel in funding new projects at the school to protect biodiversity by making a voluntary donation at the end of their stay.
Ecological and Social Awareness
Placed in the dressing of every guestroom and suite, the “Donation Bag” allows guests to donate accessories or clothing they no longer wish to keep. These items are then redistributed to populations in need through the local Red Cross chapter in Moûtiers.
L’Apogée Courchevel offers guests the option to have linens and towels changed every other day while maintaining the highest levels of comfort. Reducing the frequency of linen changes helps minimize the number of washes and thereby reduces energy and water consumption.
The hotel provides an exclusive range of bath products made from 100% natural and organic ingredients by Bamford. This approach ensures premium products that are both environmentally friendly and health conscious.
To raise staff awareness of sustainable development and the initiatives carried out by the CSR department, training sessions are held throughout the season.
The CSR department is dedicated to ensuring L’Apogée Courchevel stands as an eco-friendly Palace with an unwavering commitment to environmental preservation and sustainability.
