The TFest Chapter V brought together esteemed leaders, exhibitors, and buyers in the luxury travel sector from around the world. Held from October 27th to 30th, 2024, the event facilitated valuable networking opportunities and formed meaningful business relationships, shaping the future of the industry.

Christy Kuplic, Managing Director of Private Luxury Events, emphasised the importance of TFest in connecting industry professionals: “TFest brought together for the fifth year luxury travel professionals - connecting the global luxury travel scene. Our delegates came together, challenged themselves, and forged unforgettable connections. Business relationships established at TFest continue to grow year after year, driving innovation and progress in the industry and we evolve the event.”

Jacco Van Teeffelen, General Manager of Fairmont Mayakoba, expressed their delight in hosting the event: “At Fairmont Mayakoba, we are thrilled to have welcomed over 600 luxury travel professionals to TFest. The event not only showcased the beauty of the Riviera Maya but also provided an exceptional setting for fostering connections and inspiring new journeys. We eagerly anticipate hosting TFest again in 2025 and 2026.”

Pablo A. Arteaga Vega, Senior Marketing Manager at RLH Properties highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “TFest at Mayakoba provides the perfect backdrop for luxury travel professionals to engage in inspiring programming and form authentic connections that resonate with the ethos of the destination.”

“Ennismore attended TFest as a brand for the first time this year. In partnership with Accor, we joined forces to bring a few of our key hotels to this event in hopes of discovering a new way to reach our valued luxury advisors. Our hotels found the connections they made to be unique to other conferences, authentic in the attempt to gain knowledge and possible future opportunities and enriching in the activities offered which allowed them to connect through more than just appointments.” said Michelle Bearman, VP of Sales at Ennismore.

Bearman added: “We hosted an activation to promote our two SLS openings, Playa Mujeres Mexico and Barcelona and the exposure for those brands was fantastic.”

Senior Sales Manager – Luxury Leisure at The Savoy, Labrini Tsaka said: “Attending TFest Chapter V in Mayakoba was an exceptional opportunity to connect with industry leaders and showcase The Savoy’s latest offerings. The quality of our appointments was outstanding, facilitating productive and meaningful conversations with partners who share our commitment to luxury and excellence. It’s always a pleasure to engage with a community that understands and values bespoke hospitality.”

Susanne Küst, CITY-REISEN GmbH commented on her experience mentioning TFest: “It was connecting the best with the best. I love the concept of TFest. The mornings offer high-quality meetings with top-tier partners from around the globe – everything from private jets and exclusive islands to small, bespoke boutique hotels.

“The international focus and diverse network of buyers creates a rich platform for interesting exchanges with colleagues worldwide. In the afternoons, the ‘Pathways’ sessions are a fantastic idea. There’s truly something for everyone, allowing you to network in a relaxed, yet meaningful way. And the new Power Hour was an impressive addition,” Küst added.

The success of TFest Chapter V was made possible through the support and collaboration of industry brands and partners, including Fairmont Mayakoba, RLH Properties, Mayakoba, Rosewood Mayakoba, Banyan Tree Mayakoba, Andaz Mayakoba Resort, Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Healing Tulum, CTA Designer, XO Private, Marriott International, Accor, and media partners LuxusInsider, LuxuryWise.
