About Thierry Marx
Thierry Marx, a Parisian chef whose name is among the most influential of his generation, is a true culinary explorer. His journey began in the workshops of the Compagnons du Tour de France, where he honed his initial skills.
Alongside masters Claude Deligne, Joël Robuchon, and Alain Chapel, he perfected his art with unwavering passion. His culinary voyage took him through Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Japan,enriching his cuisine with new flavors.
Returning to France marked the beginning of a remarkable ascent. In 1988, he earned his first Michelin star at Roc en Val in Tours, followed by a second star at Cheval Blanc in Nîmes in 1991, and two stars at Relais & Châteaux Cordeillan-Bages in 1999.
