La Réserve Ramatuelle, a sanctuary of untouched tranquillity nestled just moments away from the vibrant village of Saint-Tropez, proudly announced its grand reopening earlier this summer.
Under the visionary direction of Michel Reybier, the esteemed founder of La Réserve hotels, the property welcomes guests to experience a breathtaking transformation in its aesthetics. Renowned designer Jacques Garcia has lent his unparalleled expertise to reimagine the interiors of La Réserve Ramatuelle, infusing each space with a captivating blend of sophistication and nostalgia. From the enchanting lobby to the 27 carefully appointed rooms and suites, every corner exudes an air of refined opulence.
Drawing inspiration from the illustrious era of the 1950s - 1960s, a time marked by the creative fervor of iconic artists like Cocteau, Picasso, and Roger Capron, the decor pays homage to the timeless allure of that period.

Grand Hotel Heiligendamm (Heiligendamm, Germany)
Nestled amidst pristine forests, expansive sandy beaches, and the majestic sea, Grand Hotel Heiligendamm provides a serene backdrop for guests to relax and rejuvenate.
The property underwent renovations earlier this year, focusing particularly on the culinary area.
The property re-opened in April, following a soft opening period at the end of March. The hotel aimed to enhance its offerings, especially within the Kurhaus, the centerpiece of the historic ensemble dating back to 1817.
With its three restaurants - Gourmet Restaurant Friedrich Franz, Kurhaus Restaurant, and Sushi Bar - the Kurhaus epitomizes elegance and style. General Manager Mathias Gerds expresses the hotel's commitment to elevating the guest experience through increased exclusivity, luxury, and quality.

Nestled along the west coast of Mauritius on 27 acres of pristine land, Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa has recently undergone a comprehensive transformation overseen by the esteemed design team at Hirsch Bedner Associates, welcoming guests once again at the end of 2023. As part of this rejuvenation, two distinguished restaurants have emerged: the elegant Haiku Japanese restaurant and the flavorsome Indian Cilantro.
The resort offers six distinct styles of opulent villas for guests to choose from. The on-site Ayurvedic Spa provides a sanctuary for holistic wellness, boasting six treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, an invigorating ice-plunge pool, and a tranquil relaxation pool complemented by a Jacuzzi. For fitness enthusiasts, a variety of classes and state-of-the-art equipment are available for personal use.
Althoff Villa Belrose (St. Tropez, France)
Althoff Villa Belrose has recently unveiled its newly renovated reception, lobby, and bar area, offering breathtaking vistas of St. Tropez, while the adjoining terrace showcases a sleek and modern design. The highlight of the renovations is the permanent addition of the Pop-up restaurant "club l'indochine" by The Duc Ngo, where European and Vietnamese culinary influences converge. For the past two years, Althoff Villa Belrose has introduced the Althoff Belrose Villa Rental concept.
Over the winter season, the villa collection has expanded from 10 to 14, elevating the luxury experience to new heights. Guests staying in these private villas can indulge in unparalleled luxury, with some featuring amenities such as fitness rooms, wine cellars, and even private cinemas. Additionally, guests can enjoy daily housekeeping services and personalized concierge assistance to ensure an unforgettable stay.
The Place Firenze (Florence, Italy)
A luxury hotel in Florence overlooking Piazza Santa Maria Novella, has reopened following extensive renovation under The Hospitality Experience, the Babini Family, and General Manager Claudio Meli.
Designed by Luigi Fragola Architectural Studio, the hotel draws inspiration from the Santa Maria Novella Church and features a curated selection of local artisan artworks. Public spaces like The Fireplace, Studiolo, and Glass Yard showcase green and cream decor, custom furniture, and vibrant Florentine art. The Studiolo room honors artistic studios, while the eight suites and 12 guestrooms feature wood paneling and bespoke textiles. The rooftop, Alcova, offers panoramic views of the Duomo and Santa Maria Novella.
Beau-Rivage, Geneve (Geneva, Switzerland)
Starting in Autumn 2024, the Beau-Rivage Genève will undergo extensive room renovations, aiming to enhance the hotel's noble spaces while preserving its historic heritage. The renovation, led by TJCA, will increase restaurant and terrace capacities to improve accessibility. New additions include a luxurious spa with a swimming pool and fitness room, and redesigned bar and reception rooms. The terrace will feature three distinct areas: a brand-new restaurant, a bar area, and a private event space.
The Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Chat-Botté, will be transformed into a more intimate setting with a private lounge and a direct view into the kitchen, complemented by a state-of-the-art wine cellar. Rooms from floors 1 to 4, along with technical infrastructures, personnel areas, and kitchens, will be modernized over a 24-month period, during which the hotel will remain open.Paris-based studio Gilles & Boissier has been commissioned to oversee the decoration, ensuring that historical elements like marble columns and wall frescoes are well-preserved.
Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois Basel (Basel, Switzerland)
Embracing the motto “rich in history, young at heart,” the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is pioneering initiatives to redefine the future of grand hotels. Renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron are leading the ongoing renovation of the hotel’s annexe, introducing spacious suites, an exclusive spa, and a Salon du Cigare.
Additionally, a versatile events area will enhance the hotel’s offerings. Starting in 2025, the main building will undergo a gentle renovation under the guidance of Sigrid Gassmann of House & Garden Hamburg, who previously refurbished the Cheval Blanc restaurant, lobby, and bar. These enhancements aim to solidify the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois' status as one of Europe’s premier five-star city hotels.
Vila Vita Parc (Porches, Portugal)
The newly refurbished interiors draw inspiration from the surrounding gardens, featuring a palette of green, white, and pastel tones that reflect the landscape and evoke a fresh ambiance.
The villas and suites harmonize with their environment while enhancing a contemporary and stylish aesthetic. The 61 Oasis Suites, including Oasis Premium Suites, Premium Rooftop Suites, and Family Suites, are designed to be bright and airy, flooded with natural light. These open-plan interiors offer ample living space, a luxurious bath, and a walk-in rain shower, making them ideal for families and couples.
Hotel Eden Roc, Ascona (Ascona, Switzerland)
The award-winning Hotel Eden Roc, Ascona, is set for a major renovation from October 2024 to spring 2025. Renowned designer Carlo Rampazzi will lead the redesign of the main building, incorporating more glass, larger windows, and contemporary interiors to enhance the stunning views of Lake Maggiore.
New flooring and updated furniture will create a fresh, modern ambiance. A significant aspect of the renovation is the implementation of energy optimization measures, including a new façade and glazed balconies for improved energy efficiency. T
he hotel will also introduce a CO2-neutral energy system that leverages the natural temperature differences of the lake and groundwater, marking a substantial step towards sustainability.
In addition to the main building renovation, a new apartment building designed by Carlo Rampazzi will be constructed to provide optimal accommodation for long-term guests. The well-being of the staff is also a priority, with two staff houses already renovated and another scheduled for autumn.
Carlton Hotel St. Moritz (St. Moritz, Switzerland)
This winter, the Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz celebrates its 111th anniversary with a transformative renovation. Originally opening for the 1913/1914 winter season, the hotel now boasts a refreshed, elegant interior across all eight floors, designed by Carlo Rampazzi of Tschuggen Collection fame.
Over the past three years, extensive renovations have revitalized the Carlton Hotel for the future, including a revamped spa, a redesigned Kids Club featuring Schellen-Ursli, and a sportier aesthetic in the historic Bel Etage lobby. Rooms and suites have been meticulously refurbished with a soothing pastel color palette and luxurious handcrafted furnishings, offering stunning views of the mountains and Lake St. Moritz.
For the last winter season, the Grand Restaurant has been completely overhauled with a focus on local and wild ingredients, while the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Da Vittorio St. Moritz will unveil a new look.
These updates reaffirm the Carlton Hotel's commitment to luxury and comfort, providing guests with an exceptional setting to celebrate its anniversary.
De L’Europe Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam celebrates Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary with the launch of ‘t Huys, a new wing featuring 14 exclusive suites curated by notable designers and cultural figures.
Highlights include a suite in collaboration with Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum, where guests can explore a private gallery showcasing interpretations of Vincent Van Gogh’s masterpieces.
Renowned jeweler Bibi van der Velden has designed another suite overlooking the Amstel River, featuring vintage furniture and unique artworks, including a ceramic necklace. The Ravestijn Gallery Suite offers an art-centric experience with works by contemporary photographers like Michael Bailey-Gates and Inez & Vinoodh.
Salle Privée presents a retro-inspired suite with personal belongings of founders Patrick and Anna, while Ronald van der Kemp (RVDK) has created a vibrant hub for creativity. Sisters Janssen offer a suite celebrating art and inclusivity, and Wolfi Pictures provides a cinematic experience with an in-room cinema and boutique viewing room.
The Killarney Park (Killarney, Ireland)
The Killarney Park, a distinguished five-star hotel is set to embark on a significant renewal and refurbishment program starting in late winter 2024 through early spring 2025.
Following initial investments that revitalized the hotel lobby, public areas, and the acclaimed Peregrine fine-dining restaurant, The Killarney Park is further committing to a multi-million-dollar investment to elevate guest experiences.
Scheduled to begin in early November, the enhancements will include a transformative refurbishment of all bedrooms and suites, expanding the current room count from 67 to 74.
he hotel grounds will undergo comprehensive redesign and landscaping to enhance scenic views from the property. Additionally, plans feature the introduction of a new intimate hotel bar, a revamp of The Garden Bar and Terrace, and a complete redesign of the award-winning Spa.
