Blue Parallel’s new Iceland Heli-Ski tour is perfect for active travelers seeking truly epic luxury adventures across Arctic landscapes.
The suggested tour begins with two nights in the country’s colorful capital, Reykjavik, with tours of the city’s cultural and natural highlights, including the charming historic center and the nearby Golden Circle.
Here, travelers can snorkel or scuba dive between tectonic plates in the Silfra fissure, visit the Geysir Hot Spring and witness boiling water shooting 130 feet into the air, and admire the Gullfoss Waterfall where the Hvítá River roars through canyon walls that extend up to 230 feet.
The adventures continue in the Troll Peninsula where guests will stay at the luxurious Deplar Farm and embark on a bespoke itinerary of heli-skiing adventures each day.
The Troll Peninsula receives some of the highest average snowfalls, creating perfect conditions for heli-skiing. Snow-covered peaks, deep fjords, and the Arctic Ocean offer an unparalleled backdrop.
The heli-ski adventures will be tailored to the ability and preferences of each traveler. There are also a number of other outdoor Arctic activities on offer here including snowmobiling, fat biking, surfing, and sea kayaking.
Guests can make the most of Deplar Farm’s indulgent amenities, including its Viking Sauna and geothermal indoor/outdoor pool. After four days of heli-skiing, snow and sea activities, the iconic Blue Lagoon awaits with its famed mineral-rich, blue waters and an exquisite geothermal spa.
For the more tropically minded, Blue Parallel’s new tour to Panama’s Azuero Peninsula opens the door to incredible water-based activities and local wildlife.
Beginning in Panama City, travelers explore the historical, quaint streets of Casco Viejo (Old Quarter), visit the innovative biodiversity museum designed by “starchitect” Frank Gehry, and enjoy the Panama Canal in ultra-exclusive style at the Miraflores Lock.
Then, a private flight to the Azuero Peninsula on Panama’s Pacific Coast where they will stay at a luxurious private estate located on a 1,200-acre jungle reserve with over two miles of beachfront.
