The Love Travel Awards 2024 Winners Revealed: The prestigious Love Travel Awards took place on 27 April 2024 at Salla Dei Cristalli, Forte Village Resort, attended by over 250 romance travel leaders. Over a glamorous evening gala, the industry’s most outstanding venues and exceptional romance travel specialists were recognised and celebrated.
Categories for the 2024 Love Travel Awards included Best Wedding Venue, Most Romantic Hotel, Best Destination Wedding Planner, and Romance Travel Specialist of the Year.
This year, two new awards were introduced: The Champion of Equality award, which recognises a wedding planner or romance travel specialist who embraces and promotes the message that LOVE is LOVE, and is an expert at creating a fusion of different wedding cultures and/or same-sex couples; as well as the Above and Beyond award, which recognises individuals who go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding level of personalised service and extraordinary experiences for their clients.
Voted for by a global audience of romance travel professionals, all of the nominees, finalists, and winners were reviewed by experts, and submitted to an industry-wide vote.
Christy Kuplic, Managing Director of Private Luxury Events, said: “The wedding and romance travel industry is changing the way that society views ‘traditional’ wedding cultures – the Amour community is at the forefront of creating change and showcasing the power of love. Highlighting these champions is a vital step in creating a more inclusive world where everyone is free to celebrate their love equally.
“The Love Travel Awards honour the most romantic properties, destination wedding planners, and romance travel specialists worldwide. The shortlist and winners for the 2024 awards featured well-known industry names, independent brands, and exceptional wedding planners and travel specialists. Myrdith Leon-McCormack, Founder, Publisher, Lead, TV Correspondent at World Bridge Magazine, and one of the presenters at the 2024 Love Travel Awards said: “Amour and the Love Travel Awards stand out as an authority in romance travel. Champion of Equality winner, Bertie, Matthew Oliver Weddings commented: “The Love Travel Awards are a highlight of the gala each year, and to win the Champion of Equality award is a huge honour! Winner of the Best Destination Wedding Planner award, JoAnn Gregoli, Elegant Occasions by JoAnn Gregoli said: “I’m beyond humbled and honored to win an award for doing what I have a passion for. Planning destination weddings creates memories that last a lifetime.”
Ellie Zadeh, Director of LuxePrivé and winner of the People’s Choice award said: “To win such a prestigious award that, at its heart, is about celebrating – be it our clients’ international events, special occasion travel, or simply celebrating our extensive industry relationships, is tantamount to our values at LuxePrivé: luxury travel and events that celebrate life and relationships. Amour announced a new award for 2025, the ‘Love in Action’ award sponsored by VOW for Girls, an organisation committed to putting an end to child marriages. Christy Kuplic, Managing Director of Private Luxury Events, said: “We want to recognise all the good deeds our delegates do in their communities and we want to highlight the impact they have through charitable work, volunteering, and setting up foundations to help others thrive in a more equal world”.
