An unmissable stop on this journey was the San Domenico Palace Hotel - with its history beginning in 1896 - which soon became an essential address for royalty, writers, artists, and Hollywood stars. This place has always been the guardian of the wonder of Taormina and today, thanks to the Four Seasons brand, also an international symbol of Sicilian hospitality in the world.
The charming former monastery perched on the Ionian Sea will, for the summer of 2024, once again don the white and blue of the Blu Mediterraneo fantasy, one of the most representative of Dolce&Gabbana's creative universe.
This particular print, a tribute to the values of "Fatto a Mano" that has its roots in southern Italy, will cover the spaces of the infinity pool overlooking the sea and its terrace, allowing guests to relive ancient Italian traditions and immerse themselves in the most authentic Sicilian atmosphere.
For the first time, this year’s take-over will complete the journey into the world of Dolce&Gabbana lifestyle with a special pop-up boutique set up in one of the most precious and evocative spaces of San Domenico, in the heart of the former convent, where the ancient sacristy once stood, keeper of sacred treasures.
Gold is the absolute protagonist of the new boutique space, where guests can discover a special selection of Dolce&Gabbana clothing and accessories, including some items created exclusively for this location.
