 Carina Bauer honored with Outstanding Contribution at AEO Awards

Carina was Chair of the AEO Council from September 2021 – March 2023, during which time she worked with the Board to develop and progress AEO’s strategic aims on public affairs, diversity and sustainability as well as supporting young people in the industry.
In particular, under Carina’s leadership the Board made a number of specific changes to its Articles of Association to ensure greater diversity and member representation at a Board level for years to come.
Chris Skeith OBE, CEO of the AEO, explains: “Carina was Chair of the AEO during a very challenging period for our industry – her strategic leadership, sound judgment and incredible emotional intelligence was invaluable. In addition, throughout her tenure she was instrumental in driving positive change, which has left a long-lasting legacy for the AEO that will help lead change in the industry. We are hugely grateful for her help and support, and we can’t wait to see what else she’ll achieve for the industry, for IMEX, and personally!”
