With seven new hotels set to open within the next five years across key strategic locations in the Kingdom, the ambitious plans underscore Rotana's commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and is set to double the number of rooms offered in the region.

The recent opening of Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar marks the beginning of this extensive expansion strategy over the next five years, bringing the total key count to 4,400 across 16 properties.

The new property also increases Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts’ key count to 2,080 keys currently in operation across six hotels – a significant milestone for Rotana’s modern-design hospitality brand.

Rotana's participation in the Future Hospitality Summit served as a noteworthy platform to showcase its innovative strategies and forthcoming projects, underscoring its influential role in helping shape the region's tourism landscape.

With a commitment to adapting to evolving guest preferences and enriching offerings in Saudi Arabia, Rotana aims to actively contribute to the dynamic market and pursue its ambitious objective of doubling the number of available rooms in the Kingdom in the upcoming years.

Presently, Rotana operates nine hotels spread across five cities in Saudi Arabia, a testament to its solid foundation and profound understanding of the local market. This strategic expansion endeavour will substantially broaden Rotana's presence, effectively meeting the growing demands from both local and international tourists.

Commenting on the announcement, Philip Barnes, Rotana CEO, said:We are excited to be participating in the Future Hospitality Summit again this year, offering a fantastic opportunity for Rotana to showcase its latest developments and connect with industry peers. Leveraging our keen understanding of the market, we look forward to further developing our brand presence in the Kingdom and across the region as well as entering new markets globally, always delivering on our brand promise of ‘Treasured Time’ to guests across the world.”

As Rotana heads on an ambitious journey to expand its presence in key cities in Saudi Arabia, the initiative is set to enrich the Kingdom's hospitality sector profoundly. Each new hotel is thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the local culture.

This expansion not only aims to double Rotana’s room capacity but also significantly contributes to local economies by creating numerous job opportunities and aligning with the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030.
