As the sun-filled days draw nearer, Four Seasons Hotel Megève announces it will reopen on June 14, 2024 for the summer season, with a wealth of invigorating experiences for guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

Star Gazing with Celestial Wonders Evenings

Megève’s alpine setting provides the ideal conditions to admire the stars and cosmic marvels that light up the night sky.

This summer, Four Seasons Hotel Megève invites guests to delve into the world of astrology with Celestial Wonders Evenings, scheduled to take place every Monday evening in July and August (subject to favourable weather conditions).

The experience begins at 8:00 pm, with guests sitting back al fresco to savour a gourmet dinner featuring dishes prepared using local produce.

Throughout the evening, attendees will use a telescope to experience the natural wonders of the night sky, guided by a seasoned astronomer who will share fascinating insights about the secrets of the universe.

Guests may even be fortunate enough to witness a shooting star, an infrequent event that adds a touch of magic to the experience.

Full Moon Sound Bath Sessions

On Sunday, July 21 and Monday, August 19, 2024, guests can take part in a memorable sensory experience within the intimate ambience of the Hotel’s open-air geodesic dome.

With moonlight streaming in through the all-glass roof, the Sound Bath experience is designed to release accumulated tension, soothe the mind, and promote deep relaxation.

Guided by a seasoned expert, participants embark on this ceremonial experience with an introductory session on the Tibetan bowl, delving into the profound benefits and resonant frequencies of this ancient instrument, before surrendering to a transcendent 30-minute voyage of sound.

Enveloped in an ethereal ambience, where harmonious vibrations intertwine with gentle nocturnal breezes, guests are immersed in a realm of serenity and relaxation.

A Night Above the Clouds: An Experience to Remember in the Ideal Suite 1850

This summer, travellers seeking a unique experience can take advantage of the A Night Above the Clouds offer by staying one night at Four Seasons Hotel Megève and one night in the Ideal Suite, located within Megève’s iconic Ideal 1850 Restaurant, which enjoys a wonderfully secluded alpine location.

This cocooning 100 square metre (1,100 square foot) Suite seamlessly marries traditional Savoyard architecture with contemporary flair, elevated by a curated collection of artworks meticulously selected by Baroness Ariane de Rothschild.

To reach this tranquil sanctuary, guests have the option to embark on a scenic cable car journey, enjoy a cross-country vehicle trip, or take part in a picturesque hour-and-a-half hike along alpine trails.

Once guests have checked into their Suite, they can enjoy an aperitif in the sumptuous lounge before savouring a delicious Savoyard dinner crafted by Chef Filippo Rassetti.

A telescope will be made available exclusively on the balcony of the Suite for a unique stargazing experience, while those eager to delve further into the world of astronomy can visit the Mont d'Arbois observatory located only a few steps away.

Accompanied by an experienced astronomer, guests will uncover the secrets of the cosmos, learning all about galaxies, nebulae and star clusters using cutting-edge equipment.

The following morning, breakfast is served in a light-filled dining room facing Mont Blanc, fuelling guests for the day ahead. The restaurant’s remote alpine setting allows for convenient access to several hiking trails.

The ''A Night Above the Clouds'' offer includes:

  • One night in a Deluxe room
  • Daily breakfast
  • One night in the Ideal Suite with dedicated butler service and breakfast for two
  • Dinner for two with à la carte Savoyard specialities paired with a selection of French wines
  • Round-trip gondola pedestrian pass
The 2-night package (1 night at Four Seasons Hotel Megève and 1 night in the Ideal Suite) is priced from EUR 1,500 for two people.
