The Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2024, which was launched at a rousing ceremony today, awarded five stars across three restaurants at three Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) hotels.

The wins saw T’ang Court at The Langham, Hong Kong land a coveted three-star rating for a ninth consecutive year, giving it the longest three-star winning streak for a Cantonese restaurant currently on Hong Kong’s three-star list.

The two other winners – Cordis, Hong Kong’s Ming Court and Eaton HK’s Yat Tung Heen – both obtained one-star ratings for the 16th year in a row and 8th year in a row respectively.

The accolades come on the heels of the two Michelin stars the group secured for Cantonese restaurants at two of its hotels in Shanghai in November. LHG now proudly remains the Cantonese restaurant operator with the most Michelin stars globally.

“Our Michelin star wins clearly demonstrate the ongoing success of our mission to disseminate world-class Cantonese cuisine,” LHG chief executive officer Bob van den Oord said.

“Moreover, they illustrate our unwavering commitment to culinary excellence, which extends to all of our hotels globally.”

T’ang Court offers an exquisite selection of authentic Cantonese delicacies amidst lavish furnishings, with a focus on illuminating the depth of classic flavours through its dim sum and many other iconic dishes.

Ming Court meanwhile boasts an equally dazzling array of Cantonese classics, albeit with a modern twist and an added emphasis on seasonality.

Cantonese classics also feature prominently at the family-friendly Yat Tung Heen, where high-design interiors create a compelling atmosphere inspired by 1920s Shanghai taverns.

All three winning restaurants are celebrating their achievements by offering limited-edition Michelin degustation menus.
