This prestigious accolade is a remarkable milestone for Cà d'Oro, now in its second season under the guidance of Head Chef Leopold Ott, as it attains even greater culinary mastery.

Under the guidance of Head Chef Leopold and his exceptionally talented culinary team, Cà d'Oro has wholeheartedly embraced the art of epicureanism.

Their constant striving in the search for the best ingredients and their relentless drive for perfection have earned Cà d'Oro a well-deserved place in the Michelin gourmet bible.

The Cà d'Oro, decorated with stucco and striking chandeliers in the iconic 1864 building, captivates with its modern and creative Mediterranean cuisine.

Chef Leopold assembled a skilled kitchen team from Castello del Sole Ascona, where he also shines at Locanda Barbarossa in the summer.

In a single winter season, Leopold and his team not only delighted cherished patrons but also garnered praise from esteemed critics, reaffirming Cà d'Oro's exceptional dining experience.

"We are immensely proud of receiving one Michelin star," remarked Chef Ott.

"The synergy within our kitchen team is truly remarkable. Together, we experimented with new ideas and ingredients, and evolved our menu. This award not only reflects the exceptional talent and dedication of our team but also marks an important step in the local culinary scene. The recognition of one Michelin Stars for Cà d’Oro underscores our commitment to enhancing the culinary scene in St. Moritz and the upper Engadin Valley. This achievement is possible thanks to our exceptional Cà d'Oro team and the service team around Maître Raffaele Rispoli. Together, we have turned the dream of one Michelin star into reality."

The Cà d'Oro restaurant is set to open its doors from 12 December 2023 to 17 March 2024 this winter season. Guests can indulge in a degustation menu or order individual dishes from the a la carte menu.

The Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz is slated to welcome guests from 1 December 2023 to 5 April 2024.
