The special feature: Up to 95 percent of the materials used in the natural rooms are local.
Particularly innovative are the loam walls, which regulate heat and humidity in a natural way. The wood used comes from the hotel's own forest, and the rooms are also shielded against electromagnetic radiation (on request).Sustainability from Floor to CeilingMitigating the effects of global climate change is one of the most important issues of our time, which also affects the tourism and construction industries.
The Green PearlsⓇ Hotel Klosterbräu is an example of how a new building can be constructed almost entirely from regional materials and still have all the modern amenities of a luxury hotel.Ecological Construction Measures in the HotelThe 28 new natural rooms and suites feature : - Ecological floor construction with oak floors
- A natural façade
- Wooden furniture from Tyrol and South Tyrol
- Lighting made of wood and hay
- Organic clay walls
- Organic clay walls for a healthy indoor climate
Even in the Alps, summers are getting hotter and hotter. It was therefore important to the Seyrling family to provide their guests with rooms where the temperature is regulated in a natural way. This is now achieved by the clay walls of the natural rooms.
These are mounted on a substructure of wooden slats (from the family's own forest) and clay-insulating wool. This is topped with a 4 cm layer of clay board and a 1 cm layer of clay plaster, coated with breathable paint.Natural coolingWhen the humidity is (too) high, the loam draws moisture out of the room. When it dries, the moisture is released. As a result, clay walls cool in the summer and store heat in the winter. The aim is to minimize the use of air conditioning and heating (which are still present).
The systems installed have achieved emission class A+ (the best possible value according to the [F] regulation on the labeling of construction products).Sustainability and luxury are not mutually exclusiveThe new suites are ideal for couples who want to enjoy a romantic wellness weekend in a private atmosphere and for whom sustainability is as important as for the hosts.
They offer guests : - Private sauna
- Freestanding bathtub with panoramic views
- Beer fountain (the hotel's own beer, brewed here for over 500 years, is a specialty of the hotel)
- Wine cabinet filled with Austrian wines
- Beautiful view of the Tyrolean Alps
- Special opening offer at Hotel Klosterbräu
From 11th to 25th July, there is an opening special for the new nature rooms and suites: - 6 nights + 1 night free
- Welcome natural gift
- Spa voucher for pampering treatments
- Varied activity program
- Forest bathing/herbal walks included
