Coastal Italian at Pesce

Overlooking the seascape, the newly renovated Pesce tranports guests to the southern Italian coast with authentic ingredients and contemporary décor.

Step inside a lush dining room where fine dining meets seaside luxury. Outside on the terrace, crisp white linen tables overlook the sapphire water of the Pacific Ocean as gentle waves crash on Virador beach.

“We combine the freshest seafood with traditional Italian preparation to create a menu abundant with shareable dishes that create intimate moments of connection around the dinner table,” says Chef Victor Castro.

The menu will rotate with the seasons and new dishes will be offered throughout the year.

Current highlights include a variety of coastal cuisine from around Italy, from Carpaccio di Tonno Fresco, with freshly caught tuna thinly sliced and finished with shaved fennel and extra virgin olive oil, to Risotto All’Astice, a decadent risotto coated in lobster bisque served with a lobster tail and finished with cherry tomato confit.

Pesce is open for dinner and reservations are recommended through OpenTable.

Journey Through Latin American in Bahia

Costa Rica served as a bridge to Indigenous cultures of Central and South America and became a melting pot of the two.

Inspired by this, Chef Heberto Mejía revitalized the dining options at Bahia. The menu reflects a tour through Latin America, from Mexico to Argentina, Peru to Venezuela.

“My inspiration comes from creating a story through a dish and building flavours with local ingredients,” says Chef Heberto.

“Every menu item has a story behind it and I’m proud to showcase Latin American cuisine in a fresh new perspective.”

Along with a new menu, dinner dishes are sourced from a local Guanacaste artisan who created handmade and hand painted earthenware.

Created in the town of Guaitil, known for its pottery, these dinner dishes tell the story of the Chorotega people who are native to the Guanacaste region, and take over two weeks to create.

The Octopus Causa “Chorotega Style” is served in a beautiful Indigenous showpiece giving homage to the local Costa Rican culture while highlighting a traditionally Peruvian dish. Bahia is open 7 days a week, from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm.

Papagayo Brewing

Taste the flavour of Latin American at Papagayo Brewing, the newest venue at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica.

Located near the Tennis Center and just a short ride away from the property, it offers casual outdoor dining after a round of golf, tennis or pickleball.

“This is the perfect location to enjoy lunch or an afternoon snack,” says Sonia Sanchez, Director of Outlets.

“We offer six beers on tap from Papagayo Brewing that can be paired with street food favourites such as Tacos al Pastor, made with juicy beef, lime, pineapple and tomatillo. One of my favourites is the spicy mango cup salad, a fantastic flavour explosion that reminds me of the streets of Mexico City.”

This outlet is open daily from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, reservations are not required.
