Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg Expands Company's European Presence with Welcome to Hamburg Package
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts today announced a new hotel in Hamburg, Germany will join its collection of landmark hotels on April 30, 2007 - Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg.
Prominently located on the western side of the Inner Alster Lake shore, Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg lies in the heart of the prime retail and commercial district, on the edge of the Binnenalster. The hotel, reminiscent of a well-appointed town home, features four restaurants, two bars, a spa and fitness facility and approximately 6,700 square feet of function space. The public areas are furnished with a collection of 16th- and 17th-century Flemish Gobelin tapestries, baroque cupboards and Renaissance chests.
To commemorate the launch, the hotel is pleased to offer the Welcome to Hamburg package - guests receive a complimentary third night when staying two consecutive nights. The package also includes complimentary daily breakfast and an evening cocktail at Bar Indochine, complimentary HSIA, access to the health center and welcome amenities. Package rates start from EUR 570 in a Fairmont Room, April 30th - December 28th, 2007 and can be booked at www.fairmont.com, by calling 1-800-441-1414 or direct on +49 (0) 40 34 94 31 51.
Over one hundred years ago it was one of the first buildings on the lake - today Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg is the premier hotel address in the city. Its location is perfect for enjoying many of the top attractions, including the harbor, the State Opera, Congress Centre and the elegant shopping arcades just around the corner.
Founded in 1897 by Friedrich Haerlin, the hotel originally featured only 11 rooms; today it offers 157 rooms and suites, all individually decorated. Haerlin bought one house after the other until he finally owned the entire block, a stately presence in the city.
Consistently rated one of the finest hotels in the world, providing warm and personal service, the property has hosted royals and dignitaries for a century. Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg will join other Fairmont properties in commemorating the brand's centennial anniversary this year; an "Open Doors" day will be held October 14, 2007, where guests can tour the hotel and learn about its rich tradition of hospitality.
The new location offers travelers an additional Fairmont in Europe, joining sister properties The Savoy, A Fairmont Hotel (London), the Fairmont St. Andrews (Scotland) and the Fairmont Monte Carlo (Monaco) which will unveil a EUR 42 million renovation this May.
