Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Randall Obrecht general manager for Sorrento Hotel, a Personal Luxury Resorts & HotelsSM property located in Seattle, Washington. James Simkins, Chief Operating Officer Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels, made the announcement.
“It is a pleasure to announce Randall’s promotion to general manager,” said Mr. Simkins. “He has done a superb job as head of the hotel’s food and beverage program, showing exemplary leadership skills that he will put to good use in his new position. We congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion.”
Randall Obrecht joined Sorrento Hotel in 2011 as director of food & beverage. Previous to this he was the general manager of Palisade, Seattle's iconic waterfront restaurant. He has also served as director of food & beverage for Savor, the food services company which services McCaw Hall, home to the Seattle Ballet and Opera.
Mr. Obrecht resides in the Seattle area with his family.
