Olivier Glattfelder appointed as new Rooms Division Manager.

Barton Creek Resort & Spa
announces the hiring of Olivier Glattfelder as the resort’s new Rooms Division Manager.
Glattfelder, a native of Switzerland, joins Barton Creek after serving the past six years as
General Manager of The Porches Inn in North Adams, Massachusetts. During his tenure at
Porches Inn, it was accepted as a Historic Hotel of America, and named “One of the Top 101
Hotels in the World” by Tatler Magazine.
“We are very pleased that Olivier has decided to join our team at Barton Creek,” said James
Walsh, General Manager. “During our executive search, it was abundantly clear that Olivier
possessed extensive management experience in luxury resorts and hotels.”
Glattfelder served in various capacities at Fisher Island Resort & Club on Fisher Island, and
Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, both in Florida. Glattfelder received his degree in hotel
management from the Hotel School in Geneva, Switzerland. Early in his career, he spent several
years working at 5-star properties in Switzerland such as the Hotel Savoy Baur en Ville in
Zurich, the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz, and the Noga Hilton in Geneva.
