Doubletree(R) Hotels (NYSE:HLT) proudly announces the opening of the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn, representing the latest full-service addition to join the brand's portfolio of more than 150 fine properties across North America. Located halfway between downtown Detroit and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and across from Ford World Headquarters, the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn offers easy access to all of the Motor City's major attractions, including the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Fairlane Town Center Mall, Greektown, Ford Field and the city's casinos. As part of their new Doubletree affiliation, the hotel is placing the final touches on a multimillion-dollar product enhancement project that has rejuvenated and recharged this 347-room, full-service hotel.

Formerly a Holiday Inn(R), the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn is owned by EH Associates Limited Partnership, operated under a franchise agreement with Doubletree Hotel Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation and managed by Winegardner & Hammons, Inc.

"Our hotel development team continues to demonstrate that there still is demand for higher quality accommodations in this market and a desire to become affiliated with Doubletree and the Hilton Family of Hotels across the U.S. and Canada," said Dave Horton, senior vice president - brand management for Doubletree Hotels. "We are proud to open our third Detroit Metro Doubletree hotel in Dearborn and we look forward to sharing our brand's tradition of a warm, comfortable and personable hotel experience with visitors and residents alike."

The signature welcome of the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn is the "Great Room," an atrium-style lobby experience which brings together a fusion of entertainment, relaxation, technology and dining options that provide a comfortable living room-style atmosphere for guests. Complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, lush landscaping and fountains, ambient satellite music, flat-screen televisions and a Starbucks(R) Coffee Bar provides the perfect gathering place for colleagues, friends or family to gather at the beginning or end of a busy day.

Getting rest and relaxation when you are away from home is important. All 347 guestrooms at the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn, including an Executive Floor and six suites, have been refreshed with wireless high-speed Internet access and sophisticated, contemporary furnishings in a palette of rich rusts and warm red and brown hues. The hotel also is proud to offer the Sweet Dreams(R) by Doubletree Sleep Experience -- which includes a plentiful amount of pillows, a luxurious linen package of a down-filled duvet wrapped in triple sheeting and a specially designed plush-top mattress and box spring system that ensures a great night's sleep. Guest bathrooms have been redesigned to include upgraded lighting, new vanities with granite counters, updated fixtures and a curved shower rod that allows for 20% more space in the shower.

For any social or business gathering, the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn is well-equipped with more than 12,000 square feet of flexible function space. The 6,200-square-foot Great Lakes Ballroom can accommodate up to 800 for receptions or easily break into five smaller event venues. State-of-the-art technology capabilities in every room, including wireless high-speed Internet, and the expertise of a dedicated meetings team are available to ensure a flawless event or meeting.

Recreational amenities include an indoor and an outdoor, heated swimming pool, a whirlpool and a fitness room including cardiovascular exercise equipment, weight machines and free weights. Business services include a 24-hour, self-service business center

Casual, contemporary, stylish, grille39 treats guests to a culinary adventure of distinctive breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Trayfuls of sinful, signature desserts are just an indulgence away. An especially tempting variety of wines, cocktails, spirits, martinis and specialty drinks also are available from the hotel's lounge.

Members of the Hilton HHonors(R) guest reward program may earn Points & Miles(R) for every qualifying stay at the Doubletree Hotel Dearborn and from February 6 - May 30, 2006 you can earn Double Points and Double Miles with your first qualifying stay (ask for code HH2 at time of reservation). Hilton HHonors is the only hotel program that allows any of its members to reap Double Dip(R) earnings by simultaneously accumulating both airline miles and hotel points with each qualifying stay at more than 2,700 hotels worldwide.

"After an extensive renovation that has reinvigorated our hotel and rebranded it as a Doubletree, we think the new Doubletree Hotel Dearborn will become the ideal gathering place for visitors to the area and for the local community," said Keith Shopnick, hotel general manager. "And while the hotel's look and feel may have changed, the faces who work here haven't. The same gracious, attentive staff is on-hand to continue the hotel's tradition of fine service to the Dearborn community."
