For the eighth year in a row, employees at Four Seasons have named the company one of FORTUNE magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For. In addition, Four Seasons was named to FORTUNE’s Hall of Fame, as only one of 22 companies that have appeared on the prestigious list since it was introduced in 1998.

“Our pride in receiving this honour lies squarely with our employees, who have chosen to make Four Seasons part of their lives,” said Isadore Sharp, chairman and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “We know this recognition is based on their view of the company as an employer with whom they are proud to be associated. It is truly a privilege to know that we have earned their trust, respect and confidence.”

FORTUNE magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For ranking is compiled by Robert Levering and Milton Moscowitz of the Great Place to Work Institute in San Francisco. The results are based on a survey completed by tens of thousands of employees from companies all over North America. Candidate companies are also asked to submit information about Human Resources policies and workplace culture, though the final scores are weighted most heavily on the responses from employees.

“Although this is an honour based on employee opinion from the US alone, it is consistent with everything we aspire to achieve in our employee relationships around the world,” said Nicholas Mutton, executive vice president, human resources, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Day after day, in every one of our hotels, each Four Seasons employee shows a spirit of kindness and friendliness that reflects on themselves, their team and the company. It is inspiring to work with so many dedicated employees and we thank them for their support.”
