Another Hotel is to be added to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio within Germany as of 2008. The Swiss international hotel chain recently signed a contract of lease with LIP (Ludger Inholte Projektentwicklung) for a new 4-star business hotel in Düsseldorf. The Hotel is to cater first and foremost for business executives and trade fair visitors.
The Mövenpick Hotel Düsseldorf is located in a quiet downtown location, only a short distance from the trade fair grounds and the airport. Düsseldorf’s old town centre in a mere 10 minute walk away.
The 200 rooms, which include 8 junior suites and 3 suites, are comfortably furnished in an exciting modern design. Mövenpick’s trademark culinary excellence is on offer at the Restaurant and in the Lobby Bar. The Hotel also has a fitness and wellness area for relaxation.
The business centre and a total of 8 meeting rooms, all with natural daylight and state-of-the-art technology, provide the ideal setting for conferences and banquets for up to 300 people. 80 parking spaces are available at the Hotel’s own underground car park.

The Mövenpick Hotel Düsseldorf is Mövenpick’s 17th hotel in Germany. In addition to the existing 13 hotels, three projects are currently under construction in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart. The Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt-City is to be completed first, its inauguration scheduled to coincide with the 2006 World Cup.
