Golden Tulip Brings Local Flavours To Frankfurt Am Main "St. Nicholas (Sinterklaas) and Zwarte Piet"

Golden Tulip is proud to announce that on December 5th 2005, the Golden Tulip Frankfurt Offenbach hosted a sales event for international and regional companies located within the Frankfurt area. The aim of the event was to introduce Golden Tulip Frankfurt Offenbach to the business community of Frankfurt as well as to present Golden Tulip’s international booker loyalty programme the "Ambassador Club”. The theme of this event was the Dutch feast Sinterklaas or St. Nicholas.

The Feast of “Sinterklaas”, or St. Nicholas, is a traditional Dutch and Flemish annual event where small gifts are offered accompanied by poems, to loved ones, the emphasis being on children. The feast is celebrated on December 5th, the eve of St Nicholas’ day which is 6 December. The feast is celebrated nationwide by young and old, Christian and non-Christian.

The Golden Tulip Frankfurt Offenbach is a four star superior class hotel with 251 bedrooms and six meeting rooms. This business and leisure hotel is located on the bed of the river Main in the heart of Offenbach’s business district of Frankfurt and only minutes away from the centre Frankfurt, the international airport and the main highways in the area.

The sales event took place on December 5th 2005 at 18:00 at the Golden Tulip Frankfurt Offenbach. The event in addition to an extensive festive cocktail party, included a prize draw with weekends away to popular destinations in the Netherlands, seasonal gifts and of course more in depth information on Golden Tulip and the hotel itself. Last but not least the participants had the opportunity of being photographed with St Nicholas.
