Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which serves the meetings and incentive industries with its national sales responsibilities for its membership of over 100 premier Four- and Five-Diamond/Star quality hotels and resorts worldwide, has increased its offerings in the Western U.S. with the addition of The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa in Denver, Colorado, and the new InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona, to its membership. ALHI will begin to provide authorized National Sales services for the properties to the North American meetings, incentive, convention, and exhibition (M.I.C.E.) markets, according to David Gabri, president and CEO of ALHI.
As Denver’s only Mobil Four-Star and AAA Four-Diamond hotel, The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa is regarded as a national treasure. Host to presidents, prime ministers, kings, and celebrities, the hotel has served as a luxurious landmark hotel for more than 115 years. Fondly referred to as “The Brown,” this historic hotel with all modern conveniences is located in the heart of Downtown Denver’s financial and cultural district. Offerings include more than 13,000 square feet of meeting space with 12 separate meeting rooms, 241 Victorian-style guest rooms and suites, six restaurants, a luxurious spa, high-speed Internet access, and even an on-site flower shop.
Conveniently situated in scenic Paradise Valley, adjacent to Scottsdale and Phoenix, the new InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa will open in September 2008 as the Grand Canyon state’s newest luxury resort. Featuring distinct architecture influenced by Andalusia in southern Spain, the resort is nestled at the foot of the majestic Camelback Mountain. Resort offerings include two ballrooms, 14 breakout rooms, seven picturesque
outdoor event locations ranging from 500-23,000 square feet, the opulent Joya Spa, five pools, croquet, an elegant restaurant, and a café. Many small villages of guest rooms will provide a variety of room type options. Area offerings include the magnificent Sonoran Desert, 200 championship golf courses, 125 art galleries and museums, and a multitude of outdoor adventures including desert tours, hiking and rafting.
InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa becomes ALHI’s fifth member in Arizona, joining the luxurious Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Arizona Grand Resort, Royal Palms Resort and Spa, and Loews Ventana Canyon Resort Tucson.
The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa is ALHI’s fifth member in Colorado, joining such prestigious members as Hotel Jerome, The Broadmoor, Keystone Resort & Conference Center, and Vail Cascade Resort & Spa.
“We’re so pleased to add this exceptional new resort and exquisite historic hotel to our outstanding luxury portfolio,” said Gabri. “We have a diversity of outstanding offerings in the popular group destinations of Colorado and Arizona, so meeting professionals and incentive specialists can find just what they want and need for their program by simply making one call to contact Associated Luxury Hotels.”
