Hilton Bella Harbor Offers Dallas Travelers and Locals a First Of Its Kind Hotel with Waterfront Amenities
On May 17, notable Texans, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Whittle Development Inc. will celebrate the opening of the new Hilton Bella Harbor, a fabulous North Texas destination that lends new meaning to the term "lone star" with its combination of first-class accommodations and waterfront features. Located 22 miles east of downtown Dallas, the hotel was designed for and around water. Seventy five percent of the luxury property's rooms have a lake view and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the hotel frame the lakeside pool and incomparable lake views. An interior water-wall and water-like reflective surfaces with metallic-flecked granite floors and art glass chandeliers bring the sound and look of water inside. Additional custom features like a majestic, specially-designed fireplace and in-laid walls with handcrafted rosewood detail complete the experience for guests.
Hilton Bella Harbor is owned by Whittle Development, Inc. and operated by Gateway Hospitality Group under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation. Construction for the luxury property began in November of 2006, which is one of many new attractions in the Harbor District, also built by Whittle Development, Inc.
Hilton Bella Harbor Features:
-- Local Artwork: In support of local artists, the design team
commissioned an expansive collection of more than 700 pieces of
original art (paintings, sculptures and photographs) from local
artists and the uniquely outfitted gift shop features jewelry,
skincare products, collectibles and more from local merchants.
-- Amenities: Business and leisure travelers alike can take advantage of
the outdoor pool with hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center featuring
state-of-the-art Hilton Fitness by Precor(R) equipment, personal
training sessions, outdoor activities including sailing, golf,
horseback riding, and upscale shopping.
-- Meetings: Hilton Bella Harbor redefines business travel with its
skilled team of certified meeting professionals; 24-hour business
center; a top floor executive level lounge serving continental
breakfast each morning and hors d'oeuvres each evening from 5-8 p.m.;
available video messaging and conferencing; 7,000 square feet of
pre-function space and 16 meeting rooms including two executive
boardrooms and a 1,200-person capacity ballroom with top of the line
sound systems and 18-foot ceilings.

Hilton's Green Initiative Program which offers earth-friendly features
like electronic whiteboards, recycling bins, energy efficient lighting
and collateral printed on recycled paper.

mattress pads and top-quality linens and pillows. All guest rooms
include upgrades on items from hardware and soap dishes to

Hilton Serenity Bath Collection, featuring the exclusive Crabtree and
Evelyn line of La Source(R) bath products; a Cuisinart(R) dual-cup,

speed Internet with wireless access; and a 32-inch LCD flat screen
television.
-- Dining: To charm guests' palates, the hotel's signature restaurant,
Mistra, led by Executive Chef Steven Weir, offers a taste of the
Mediterranean through unique dishes and a thoughtful wine list. Guests
