Renovations at the Warwick Fiji Resort are nearing completion. all 250 well-appointed guest rooms are having what we like to term as an Extreme Makeover.
The new beds and furniture offer a soft and natural feel, reminiscent of the tropical haven that greets you right outside your room. In all our four guest room categories, (Suites, Warwick Club, Ocean View and Mountain Views) we have replaced the old aluminum doors with fine Fijian Mahogany French type entrances. We are also replacing the marble tile in all our bathrooms. The parquet tiles in the Ocean and Mountain View guest rooms become lighter and well polished to add a brighter feel. One unique feature of the resort is its well-carpeted hallways. The Warwick Fiji Resort has invested a quarter of a million dollars towards the replacement of these carpets in an effort to enhance guest comfort.
We are also excited to announce the construction of our new Spa, built overlooking the tranquil lagoon. The new Spa, scheduled for completion by the end of December 2005, features two outdoor pools (hot & cold), three single massage pools, one double massage room with work pools, sauna room, body scrub room and a manicure & pedicure room.
In our effort to encourage healthy lifestyle for our guests, the Warwick Fiji Resort is upgrading our Fitness Centre with the purchase of new fitness equipment. In addition, a brand new treatment plant will ensure that our water is cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
Tourism and travel in Fiji is fast expanding and the continuous improvements at the Warwick Fiji Resort are testament to our effort to be one of Fiji's most preferred holiday destination.
