Radisson Hotels & Resorts(R) today announced the 226 room Radisson Hotel and Conference Center located at 17123 North Laurel Park Drive in Livonia, Mich., will soon complete a $12 Million renovation. Refurbishment of the three-story hotel's guest rooms, meeting space, restaurant, pool, fitness center and all public areas is expected to be completed by March 30, 2008. "Radisson is focused on delivering the highest quality product and service for today's travelers, a distinction we're achieving with renovations that make the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Detroit - Livonia the benchmark for Livonia-area hotels," said Leonard Williams, general manager of the hotel. "The hotel's renovation supports our brand commitment to be the best in class and offer guests an unforgettable lodging experience, providing them with all the comforts they need to stay their own way." The hotel is in the final stages of the extensive $12 million renovation that will result in a new sleek and sophisticated look with captivating modern spaces and an extensive array of facilities and amenities, highlighted by the hotel's market-leading customer service. The hotel remains open during the renovation providing a full range of services to its guests. All available guest rooms and meeting space has been newly renovated. This project will be completed in the first quarter of 2008 and will encompass the entire 226-room hotel, affecting all guest rooms and suites and all public areas including one of the largest meeting facilities in the Detroit area at 15,300 square feet. The renovations will also extend to the indoor pool, newly constructed, state-of-the-art fitness and business centers, and three new food and beverage concepts -- a new, hip lounge "SIX," and two new dining facilities, "Marketplace" and "The Traveling Fork." The new atrium area will offer numerous options for socializing, collaborating with business associates, or just relaxing by a fire. Guests are encouraged to engage in a game of billiards or take a swim in the extraordinary pool. The entire facility provides free wireless high-speed Internet connectivity.
