DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

Based in the South of France in Biot, The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule, Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures and Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.

Main responsabilities :

• Oversee outsourced daily accounting of French entity,
• Oversee the preparation of Monthly financial statements,
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards,
• Daily accounting of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables,
• Supervising and approve digitalized travel expense tool,
• Communication of month end reporting internally and externally,
• Support in the corporate budget process,
• Drive innovation and improve accounting processes,
• Involvement in the yearly audit of the entities,
• Manage the different entities of Oetker Hotels Management Company

PROFILE REQUIRED

Main competencies :

- Strong understanding of accounting theory.

- ACCA designation preferred.

- Highly detail oriented and organized in work.

- Ability to meet assigned deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.

- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to

accomplish objectives.

- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications and Accounting Software.

- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management,

and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.

- Experience in working in hotel and hospitality environment desirable.

Education :

- 4 to 5 years of higher education in Accounting or Finance or Business

- English and German speaking and French is a plus.
