Dar Ahlam is looking for a Front of House - Front office Manager to shoulder the ultimate responsibilities for all guest-facing operations. This manager is largely responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience at Dar Ahlam from start to finish and managing the front of house staff as well. The experiences, activities and excursions, meals organized in the hotel or outside are one of the highlights of a stay here at Dar Ahlam, the candidate will be responsible for curating, organizing and coordinating them all. Also the ideal candidate for this pivotal role at Dar Ahlam is someone eager to transcend the conventional boundaries of a traditional hotel and break out from the classic expectations of the hospitality industry. We seek an individual who consistently thinks outside the box and is perpetually in search of extraordinary experiences for the guests. This position requires a unique blend of luxury and simplicity, seamlessly integrating tradition and modernity, all set in Skoura, at the gates of the Moroccan desert.
Profile required
Fluency in English and French; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of front-of-house experience in a leadership role.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in computer literacy is essential.
Capable of effectively dealing with internal and external customers, requiring a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts.
Able to observe and detect signs of emergency situations, remaining calm and alert during emergencies and periods of heavy hotel activity, and serving as a role model for clerks and other associates.
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers.
Able to make sound business decisions and take swift action based on previous experience and good judgment.
Knowledge of hotel operations, including security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, repairs, maintenance, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
