Benjamin Vuchot is appointed Executive Director and CEO of The Peninsula Photo credit © The Peninsula Hotels Benjamin Vuchot is the new leader of The Peninsula Hotels. He will take up his post on 3 March 2025. A graduate of ESSEC Paris and well known in the world of luxury retail, he has over 30 years' experience in the sector, notably with the Richemont and LVMH groups.
After working for the Richemont group, at Cartier and then Van Cleef & Arpels, where he headed up the Asia Pacific region, he joined the LVMH group as President Asia of Sephora, and then as CEO of DFS Group Limited, one of the world leaders in luxury retail dedicated to travellers.
The current CEO, Clement King Man Kwok, 64, Chevalier dans l'Ordre National de la Légion d'Honneur, will step down as CEO in October 2024, after 22 years at the helm. He will remain a member of the Board of Directors until the Annual General Meeting in 2025. In the meantime, Christobelle Yi Ching Liao will be appointed interim CEO.

His expertise in the luxury industry and in solid, sustainable groups such as Richemont and LVMH is fully in line with the trajectory and DNA of The Peninsula, which was created 96 years ago, and whose 12 hotels illustrate the demand for excellence and sustainability.
